Who we are

MobilityVerified is an independent home adaptation directory operated in the United Kingdom. For the purposes of UK data protection law, we are the data controller for personal data collected through this website.

What data we collect and why

Quote request data
What: Your name, phone number, email address, postcode, property type, service required, and any notes you provide.
Why: To match you with up to 3 verified installers in your area and send you a confirmation email.
Legal basis: Your consent (you explicitly tick the consent box before submitting).
Retention: We retain your enquiry details for 12 months, after which they are deleted.
Usage data
What: Pages visited, time on site, device type, browser, approximate location (country/city level only), and referring website.
Why: To improve the directory, understand which pages are most useful, and diagnose technical issues.
Legal basis: Legitimate interests in operating and improving our service.
Retention: Aggregated analytics data is retained for 26 months. We use Google Analytics 4 with IP anonymisation enabled.
Contact form submissions
What: Your name, email address, and the content of your message.
Why: To respond to your enquiry.
Legal basis: Legitimate interests in responding to communications.
Retention: Retained for 2 years, then deleted.

Who we share your data with

We share your personal data only in the following circumstances:

  • Matched installers: When you submit a quote request, your contact details are shared with up to 3 verified installers that we match you with. You consent to this when you tick the consent box.
  • Email delivery: We use Resend (resend.com) to send confirmation emails. They process your email address solely for delivery purposes.
  • Analytics: Google Analytics 4 receives anonymised usage data. No personally identifiable information is included.
  • Legal requirements: We may disclose data if required by law or to protect our legal rights.

We never sell your personal data. We never share your data with marketing brokers or lead aggregators.

Security

All data is transmitted over HTTPS. We use industry-standard security measures to protect your personal data. Our servers are located within the European Economic Area. Access to personal data is restricted to authorised personnel only.

Changes to this notice

We may update this privacy notice from time to time. When we make significant changes, we will update the "last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of MobilityVerified after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated notice.
